Join as a Cadet

Anyone can join once they are aged 12 or over and have started Year 8 or higher at school. The maximum enrolment age is 17 so you must have joined no later than 16 years and 9 months but the earlier you join the more you will get out of it!

To join, please fill out the expression of interest form below to attend our next intake evening. We will send you further instructions closer to the intake night with a formal invitation via email.

In the email, you will be told what to bring with you. 

An adult, i.e. parent/guardian, must escort each young person.

Your young person must be the age mentioned above; please supply your young person's Date of Birth. If they are too young, we will add you to the next available intake after they turn 12 and have entered Year 8—you will then be contacted closer to the time.

Joining costs £20 per calendar month, payable at the beginning of the month - the first month is FREE. 

If you apply to join, you will be invited to our next intake evening if you are old enough.

We usually have an intake in January, April and September each year.
