The Air Training Corps is structured in a similar way to the Royal Air Force.

The Air Training Corps is headed by a senior RAF officer holding the rank of Air Commodore. She is known as the Commandant Air Cadets and is the only full-time serving RAF officer in the ATC, and she is based at Headquarters Air Cadets (HQAC), RAF Cranwell.

Assisting her is a very dedicated team of RAFVR(T) and RAFR officers, non-commissioned officers and civilian staff, which form the 11,000 adult volunteers, working from HQAC all the way down to squadron level. The following shows the corps structure in relation to our squadron.
